How can I improve my sound quality?
Sound quality is best when the speakers are placed directly opposite your ear canal. To ensure optimal placement: 1) With the helmet on, locate your ear position. 2) Remove the helmet while keeping your finger on the spot to position the speakers correctly. 3) Place speakers as close as possible to your ears. 4) Use the included Velcro booster pads if needed.
Can I use my unit in the rain?
Yes. All Cardo units are waterproof, allowing you to ride confidently in wet conditions while maintaining clear communication.
How long does it take to charge my unit?
The Fast Charging feature provides 2 hours of talk time after just 20 minutes. A full charge is typically reached in about 2 hours.
How can I get more run-time out of my battery?
Your Cardo unit supports charge-while-riding, allowing you to connect it to a power bank or motorcycle power source for extended use.
Can I replace the battery in my unit?
Do not attempt to replace the battery on your own, as doing so may compromise waterproof integrity. Try charging for at least 4 hours or using a different charger. Contact support if issues remain.

Avoid leaving the unit unused for more than 3 months. Charge it for at least 4 hours every 3 months during long-term storage.

Does the SPIRIT line connect to other Cardo generations?

How to pair to a non-Cardo headset using universal connectivity
1) Start intercom pairing on your Cardo unit. 2) On the non-Cardo device, start mobile phone pairing. 3) Wait for pairing to complete.
Can I listen to music and be part of the intercom at the same time?
Yes. Music and intercom can operate simultaneously. Music volume will automatically lower when someone speaks.
Something stopped working on my SPIRIT unit. What should I do?
Reset the unit by pressing Intercom/Mobile + Volume Up + Volume Down until the LED flashes purple and the unit shuts off. Then turn it back on.
Why can't I get the full range of intercom out of my unit?
Published range is measured under ideal conditions. Terrain, trees, buildings, and interference can reduce actual range.
Are there limitations to the music sharing feature?
Music sharing is supported between FREECOM X and SPIRIT units, but not with previous Cardo generations.
Is it possible to use it with my own earbuds/speakers?
Yes. Your unit supports aftermarket speakers or earbuds via the 3.5mm jack port.
