Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 Updated OEM Primary Clutch

Upgrade or replace the primary clutch on your Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 with the latest OEM Kawasaki design. This updated 3-arm primary clutch improves upon the earlier 4-arm design and addresses common wear issues found with previous-generation KRX clutches.

Key Features & Benefits

• Updated 3-Arm Design: Latest OEM Kawasaki primary clutch design for improved performance and durability.
• Improved Sheave Design: Helps address the groove wear that can cause a noticeable “gear shifting” or surging sensation during acceleration and deceleration.
• Updated Weights & Pins: Revised weight profile and balance provide improved clutch response and engagement characteristics.
• Great for KRX4 Models: Updated calibration is especially beneficial for the additional weight of the 4-seat Teryx KRX4.
• Direct OEM Replacement: Replaces the earlier 4-arm primary clutch and is interchangeable with previous versions across applicable KRX 1000 model years.

Important Identification Information

Some 2023 Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 models may already be equipped with the updated clutch and/or updated clutch weights, while others may still have the previous design. Refer to the product images to help identify which version is currently installed on your machine.

If your existing clutch is marked with “83”, “75,” or “77”, it is equipped with the older clutch and weight configuration.

Installation Recommendation

When replacing the primary clutch, we strongly recommend inspecting and replacing the drive belt as needed and thoroughly cleaning the clutch housing and surrounding components before installation. This helps prevent contamination and promotes proper clutch operation and belt life.
