Well I'm glad you asked. AWESOMEOFFROAD is a new website, but not a new company. AOR is the new accessory site for MLS Powersports LLC. MLS Powersports has been around the ATV/UTV world for a long time. We are one of the largest and most successful powersports dealers in the southeastern US. We are also the world's largest Pro Armor dealer and one of the most successful eBay and Amazon retailers of UTV accessories. MLS evolved from my passion for ATVs/Side by Sides. In the 80s and 90s I was regularly frustrated with the way many dealerships treated their customers. At one point, I stopped in the same dealership four separate times with the intention of buying a new ATV. Every time I could not get so much as an acknowledgment from the employees. Not even a "hello". When you could talk to someone it was all smoke and mirrors. They advertise one price online or in print, then add a bunch of silly "freight", "prep", and "setup fees". Why does it have to be this way?????
We finally decided that it doesn't have to be that way, so we opened a dealership that is transparent. We founded it on a few simple beliefs. We believe that you should be treated like a friend, not an annoyance. The price you are quoted should be the price, no silly fees. You shouldn't have to play games with a trade in. If we make you a trade offer, we will buy it for that same offer, even if you don't trade. We believe that commissioned sales is no way to live or treat people. We have zero commissioned employees. A dealer does not need to make a bundle on every deal. Help your customer by giving him or her great advice and a great deal. Be honest. Treat them like you would want to be treated and they will be back. Its simple really.
The idea behind AWESOMEOFFROAD.COM is exactly the same. We vow to do the following: Sell only the best quality parts and accessories and sell them as cheap as we possibly can. Never hide fees by advertising a super low price then adding freight charges. Test the products we sell and simply not sell the junk. There is a lot of very poor quality stuff out there in this industry, but you won't find it here. Many online retailers are bean counters. People who are there to make a quick buck drop-shipping products from their basement. We are enthusiasts. We own the products we sell personally. We build full custom machines from the ground up for ourselves and our customers.
